Oh, what a month!

January has been somewhat crazy for us. It started off with Matt on call for the first day or two of the new year. We finally started getting back into a routine when the Jetta decided it was tired and no longer wanted to go on. Matt and I had plans to watch Bama and LSU in the championship game, eat some hot dogs, and relax. Unfortunately, the Jetta thought otherwise. Nate and I had to take Matt some oil after he was stranded near the movie theater. He put the oil in the car and started home. Massive amounts of white smoke started billowing from the car. After having to push the car through the intersection, jump it off, and pray that it made it home we were finally able to sit down and watch the game. Our night had a happy ending when Bama pulled off the win. However, the next few weeks were about to get crazy!

Nate and I spent the next few weeks taking Matt to work and picking him up. Matt would occasionally have to go in a little later and he was able to drop me off at work a time or two and take the car. We spent several, several days looking for a car and we finally decided upon a Hyundai Genesis. It's a fun little car. Not horribly practical, but fun.

Nate has been busy growing up on us, too! His first birthday is just around the corner and I'm in the planning stages. We have the place reserved, but now I must do the invites and figure out the details. I think it'll be a lot of fun! Nate has been weird about his food lately. I've been trying different things with him and grilled cheese is a hit! He also loves his sippy cup and will be off the bottles before long! Crazy!!

The remote helped make this photo shoot a success! He was screaming just a few minutes before this picture was taken.

He has figured out that he can control things just by pushing buttons!

 Grilled cheese is yummy!!

He is also a fan of chocolate chip muffins and milk.

Hopefully February will lend me more time to blog! January was nuts and I could use a less stressful February!
